After creating your course in CodeGrade, you are able to import all assignments from a previous course.
Sometimes, it is not necessary to set up a whole course from scratch. In CodeGrade, you can simply import / copy a previous course's assignments to your current course. For instance for a new iteration of your course.
For Blackboard and Brightspace with upgraded LTI, using the built in "Duplicate Course" option will automatically import all assignments in CodeGrade correctly too. Please contact our support team to find out if your LMS supports this too.
Importing all assignments and course settings from a previous course in the Course Manager
Navigate to the Course Management page and go to the General tab.
Scroll all the way down to the "Danger Zone", here you can find the Copy Course option.
Select the course to import and press Submit. All assignments will be copied to the current course now.
Permissions and roles are not imported from a previous course.
Is your course connected to a learning management system, then these LTI assignments (i.e. assignments made via your LMS) are not imported when using the Course Copy function in CodeGrade. To recreate these assignments, simply create the assignments again via your LMS and use CodeGrade's Assignment Copy function.
